Scottish Borders Pride yesterday was an unprecedented success. When we were planning for it, we hoped we could attract perhaps 150 people to attend. On the day, we had about 500 and I’m overwhelmed by how positive the messages have been about it.

A large progress pride banner with “Scottish Borders Pride” written on it. Lots of brightly dressed people and flags are evident behind it.

Two people stand in front of a big Unite the Union banner, with LGBT EQUALITY, HUMAN RIGHTS, DIVERSITY, COMMUNITY, EDUCATION, written upon it.
