This is not a dying planet. This is a planet being killed. There is a difference. And there are killers. #ClimateJustice

Just look at the Middle East. Decades of conflict for oil and power have turned paradise into poison: Massive oil spills coating the Persian Gulf Soils contaminated with depleted uranium and explosives Air thick with smoke from burning wells and bombed infrastructure

Those who start wars to make money while polluting the planet are the WORST of humanity. Despicable. They don’t just spill blood, they spill poison into the very Earth that feeds us all. Humans are the ONLY animals on Earth that will shit on its own dinner.

Nature doesn’t need us. We need nature. When the last forest falls and the last river is poisoned for profit, no amount of money will buy back the air we breathe, the food we eat, or the medicines that heal us. It’s time to shift from exploitation to stewardship. 🌱 #OnePlanet

We are guests of this planet, not its conquerors. It’s time to stop the destruction and start the coexistence. It is entirely possible. 🌿✨ #ClimateCrisis #ActNow

The Amazon & Congo Basins are Earth's twin lungs. Together, they hold a staggering share of global biodiversity and fight climate change every single day. These aren't just forests — they're life support systems for the planet. Let's dive in. 🧵

The greatest challenge for many farmers isn’t growing food — it’s managing it after harvest. Post-harvest losses claim 13% of food before it even reaches retail (FAO). In Sub-Saharan Africa, that figure hits 23%. We already produce enough to feed the world. The real crisis is what we lose.

75% of our leading food crops depend on pollinators. No bees = no tomatoes, no beans, no peppers, no mangoes, no coffee. You think food comes from the supermarket. It comes from a bee that just died from insecticide drift.

This poison doesn't just kill bugs. It poisons 385 MILLION people every year and kills 11,000 farmers annually. In West Africa alone, 48.9% of farmers suffer acute poisoning every year. Who is holding these companies accountable?

Farmers are told these chemicals are the only way. But from my field experience, I see the truth: pesticides are a temporary fix that creates a permanent problem. They kill the pests, but they also kill the beneficial insects, degrade the soil, and lead to superweeds. It's a vicious cycle.

I’ve lived in the same area all but six years. I’ve watched what destroying old growth forests for development and pesticide use has done to the environment, especially its effect on insects and wildlife and our weather. When I started teaching this in 2012, I was mocked.

"less regulations means more cancer" I just found one site www.bcpp.org/has-europes-... This is why all US Conservative Radio has attacked the EU for 3 decades now. EU is the last entity on Earth that has minimal protections for its citizens and EU does prosecute "some" corporations.

Has Europe’s Safer Chemical Policy Translated to Lower Breast Cancer Rates?
Advocates point to Europe's more protective chemical regulations- have these policies resulted in lower breast cancer rates in Europe compared to the United States?

I grew up in Central Florida in the 60s/70s. Pesticide fogger trucks would spew poison into our streets weekly. Pesticides were sprayed onto our canals, even though we all drank well water. Every house around ours had someone dying from cancer. Not a coincidence.

Honey Bees are just as vulnerable to insecticides as other insects and sometimes moreso because even a sublethal dose can make them more vulnerable to things like Varroa mites. Some of the newer pesticides are worse because they persist in the environment. extension.entm.purdue.edu/publications...

Our insect populations are already dwindling to alarming rates. Remember the Lion King’s circle of life? We know how habitats on even a micro level can be drastically altered or changed when life has been thrown out of balance. We need better farming practices.

Humans seem to be very comfortable with their own extinction - they've retained a pedophile to expedite it. Time is running out. tick tock tick tock Here in Central Pennsylvania (USA), it may be my imagination, but this summer there seemed to be far fewer bugs and birds.

Industrial scale concentrated food production means chemicals are used to protect the investment. All the time burdening the land needed to grow the food with poisons. We need to roll back on the industrialisation of food over the last century and just get more people growing in less density.

It really does feel like we are sleepwalking toward a cliff doesn’t it? We treat the natural world as something we can just use up and discard until one day it’s simply gone. And the scariest part is so few seem to notice or care until it’s too late. We can’t keep pretending this is sustainable.
