Setting *everything else* aside, it's hard to describe what it was like consistently watching god-mode Barry Bonds. No foul balls, very few swinging strikes. It felt like he was in complete control of every at-bat, and that not hitting a home run or drawing a walk was a genuine surprise outcome.
