In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court rules that the Human Instrumentality Project may continue. “All is well,“ a member of SEELE, the mysterious organization attempting to force the evolution of the human race, could be heard saying, before melting into a puddle of orange goo.

Classical music is as exploitative a field as any, with a high risk of workplace injury—and fewer jobs than ever before. Back in 2019, Kate Wagner wrote on the rarefied sphere. thebaffler.com/salvos/strik...

The world of classical music is neither noble nor fair, though its reputation says otherwise.

The Amazing World of Tomorrow
A comic strip titled The Amazing World of Tomorrow.
A food delivery robot cooler drives down a sidewalk.
It crashes into a rental scooter.
It backs up.
It crashes into the rental scooter again. The scooter wobbles.
The scooter falls to the ground as the food delivery robot backs up again.
A driverless taxi crashes into both the scooter and the food delivery robot sending them flying.

Star Trek The Next Generation scene. The bridge of the Enterprise is shown from above looking down. Data sits at his console looking back at the rest of the crew, who are all passed out in various situations; on the floor, slumped over a console, or half falling off their chairs. Worf, notorious Klingon warrior, dangles over the tactical station. No caption.

This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.
Photo of NBC’s exit poll data (from my work laptop, lol) showing Mamdani splitting the straight vote equally with Cuomo, but taking the LGBTQ+ vote by more than 5:1. Even though the LGBTQ+ slice is only 14% of the population, they were a LANDSLIDE in his favor.

“Since the mirror of gentrification is representation in popular culture, increasingly only the gentrified get their stories told in mass ways. They look in the mirror and think it's a window, believing that corporate support for and inflation of their story is in fact a neutral and accurate picture of the world. If all art, politics, entertainment, relationships, and conversations must maintain that what is constructed and imposed by force is actually natural and neutral, then the gentrified mind is a very fragile parasite.”

Star Trek Voyager scene. Tom Paris lays on a sick bay bed, with his head on the lil' bed pillow. He's looking up and screaming out. He has a desperate and fearful look in his eyes. His skin is suffering from some gross abnormalities, with veins quite visibly popping out along the side of his face and neck. It's a little big gross. I just saw a good example of what I was talking about with chatgpt being a crackpot generating machine. A guy had started Wheeler's Spacetime Physics, and had a problem on page 2. Wheeler expressed a square root as a power of 1/2. √a = a^1/2. This is basic algebra, not physics.

Spock himself is sitting at his science station turned out to chat with his 2 best friends. It's all very ordinary and normal, no funny business.
