Hello,
I started Walthamstow Adults Neurodivergent Group (WANG) in December 2023 after receiving a late diagnosis of ADHD at 49 years old. With a lack of local support, I decided to start a group myself. My mission has always been simple. To provide a safe, compassionate environment where neurodivergent (ND) adults can connect, share experiences, and learn about themselves. My goal is also to host more workshops focused on neurodivergent wellbeing. WANG has grown to over 80 members, proving just how needed WANG is!
At a time when ableism is on the rise, we need these spaces more than ever so our ND community can thrive.
Why we need your help today:
Sadly, the group missed out on crucial funding this year.
To keep WANG going for the year ahead, we need to raise at least £700. 100% of these funds will go directly toward paying the venue hire at Together Space, allowing us to continue meeting safely once a month.
A donation of £10 covers a member's space at a monthly meetup.
A donation of £60 funds the hire for an entire month.

40 years ago, that corner of the bus would have had a small window where you could look down and check the top of the driver's head was okay. (I think the driver also used it as a kind of periscope to check on upstairs) I miss that.

As we don't have fixed election dates, parties find out when the 12 month regulated period began 10 months later, once election called. There is no useful remedy if a party spends £50 million in 9 months, then faces a £35m limit. So need to set limits for all periods, not just election periods
