Myreen @myreen.bsky.social · 19/04/2026You can't make money off a movie about sharks just swimming and accidentally biting people 🤦♂️ besides that would be the most boring ass thing to watch. Jaws may be fake but at least it was an awesome movie 010
Coach Gav @coachgav.bsky.social · 19/04/2026That's fucked up, 12 per year is way way too many. Get rid of all the sharks 000
Katherine Porter @katherinepr.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Spielberg regrets making the film because of it’s effects on sharks. Sharks are the kings of the ocean - humans should treat them with respect. The shark fin trade is sickening. Last week 50000 illegal shark fins were found in car parts boxes. We must do more to protect sharks. 110
Uncle Doofus @poorjavier.bsky.social · 19/04/2026With stats like this, go ahead and eat a human once in a while. #SorryNoSorry 🦈🦈🦈 010
liberty dies slowly.bsky.social @libertydiesslowly.bsky.social · 19/04/2026When the USS Indianapolis went down 900 men went into the water 4 days later 316 came out of the water the sharks took the rest. 000
liberty dies slowly.bsky.social @libertydiesslowly.bsky.social · 19/04/2026You have no idea how many people sharks kill per year. An estimates 10k people disappear at sea or beaches every year. You don't know that sharks are not eating them. 000
John van Husen @johnvanhusen.bsky.social · 19/04/2026It was a fucking movie we kill all kinds of animals you just love sharks Hell we kill bambi 000
Mir Bahmanyar @mirbahmanyar.com · 19/04/2026Well Hollywood sucks. Full of rapists and pedophiles and Zionists. 000
john can cook @jdavis77.bsky.social · 19/04/2026There needs to be a warning sign on surfboards so that sharks don't make this mistake 000
Sleepless In America @sleeplessinamerica.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Well, "Mako." Terrible movie, but very pro-shark. (Cute actor.) 000
redmcredred.bsky.social @redmcredred.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Per capita that's actually probably less than shark hunting Orca. (Yes, Industrial fishing of sharks is fucked) 2 orca have killed so many sharks off South Africa that it's legit affecting tourism. Up to an observed 20 per day... Per orca! 000
Togo Palazzi @togop.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Hmmm. So sharks have learned to type. Genius. How are they paying for phones though? 000
Seeking Reason @seekingreason.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Telling the truth isn’t a strong point for the U.S. 010
Neil Mick @thornsoftristan.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Sharks are heavily maligned. I studied shark research in college. They are fascinating creatures. 160
Angry Old Man @jrobgrave.bsky.social · 19/04/2026I'm not sure I'd blame Spielberg so much as a moronic WORLD audience. I mean, it was a huge hit. But that film sparked interest in the curious hoi-poloi and some good teachers. There are more than enough sources of information about the wonders of sharks & their part in the ecosystem. 010
Nichrome Kneesocks @nichromekneesocks.bsky.social · 20/04/2026Isn't Jaws a vintage movie from many decades ago? What kind of loser is still fixated on such an ancient film? 000
Dr. Kimm @drkimm.bsky.social · 19/04/2026when a shark swims up to a human and checks him out then turns to one side and swims away, that IS a shark attack. that human was 30 seconds from dismemberment or death. sharks need to hunt off-shore not in the shallows, if they want to live. 000
adkerratic @adkerratic.bsky.social · 19/04/2026They also make movies about snakes on planes. They're called movies. 000
Klaus @klaushfrohlich.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Has Hollywood ever made a movie telling the truth about anything?🤔😵💫 120
Jacrimbo @jacrimbo420.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Why the hell are you blaming Spielberg for all this? Jaws is a work of fiction, it’s obviously fake. 120
Jennifer Dokey @cosmicchameleons.bsky.social · 20/04/2026For their fins. Then dumping their bodies back in the oceans to die. 010
