How can SCOTUS declare the president can't commit crimes while in office when the Constitution presents the remedy for exactly that situation in its main body - IMPEACHMENT and removal. No need for that if the Constitution "implied" a president cannot commit crimes in the execution of his duties.

Taxing wealth is a "property tax". Buy low, sell high creates profit. Tax all "realized profits" - even if reinvested. Who gets to invest income and declare that income "tax exempt"? As far as I know however, reinvested profits aren't presently counted as taxable income??

Playing Devil's Advocate to McConnell's condition: Many older people kept in the hospital for a fall develop Pneumonia. It's hard to cure at that age. People often continue with "walking pneumonia" afterwards. It's not acceptable that we don't know this before 90 days. IF that's the case!

Disappointment

I hope I am just one of many communications you receive expressing extreme disappointment with the campaign's position regarding transgender children.

Just as it is unacceptable for the government to insert itself between women and their doctors, it is equally unacceptable for the government to insert itself between children and their doctors and parents. Supporting a bill to ban gender related surgery in children ignores the fact that this is not government's place.

And coming out for exceptions to transgender children participating in sports is equally unforgivable. There are no safety issues with transgender children playing that aren't also there with cisgender children. Same with fairness issues. Accepting the premise that transgender children aren't just regular children is ceding ground to the fascists who wish to remove all trans 0 people from daily life. I am so deeply disappointed in Mr Talarico and the entire campaign for allowing this framing to stand unchallenged and for the stand he has taken against the transgender community.

You may still get my vote in November, but you will not get my labor in the very hard ground game that needs to be fought. I simply can't fight for a candidate that won't fight for all of us.

Caution: In TX, you can vote "party" at the top and all the races record that party's candidates as "yes". Vote "1" and run was the saying ("1" being Republican). If you vote Dem, check off each candidate so there's no question of "missing" votes. Stand tall for your choices.
