Significant numbers of leftists think Mayor Mamdani has betrayed the left by putting out an anti-antisemitism plan at all, and groups that claim to fight antisemitism like the ADL are giving Mamdani zero credit because he has not suddenly endorsed Zionism, and I am caught between and I am tired.

Ending the triple lock isn’t the same as cutting pensions. Thatcher linked the state pension to inflation rather than earnings growth with the result that the value of pensions fell relative to earnings. The triple lock was designed to reverse than trend. It’s done its job. Restore the earnings link

What is a "Zionist synagogue"? There are two possible meanings. 1) Any Synagogue affiliated to a denomination which in some way has expressed support for Israel's existence. Which is most of them. 2) Any Synagogue which has prayers which can be interpreted as "Zionist". Which is ALL of them.

Supreme court allows Trump to temporarily resume deporting people to third countries – live
More than 25,000 people have been deported to 29 countries under the policy implemented last year, according to a tally by human rights groups * Sign up to the US Breaking News email For some context, it’s worth remembering that Smith had a two-volume report of his findings as a result of his criminal investigations – that resulted in two indictments against the president after his first term. The first focused on Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election, while the second on the president’s retention of classified documents. However, in February, a Trump-appointed federal judge permanently barred the justice department from releasing the second volume of Smith’s report. Continue reading...
