I tell people constantly, that of all of the things that there are in the universe; The X-Men are my favourite thing.

If you're not currently in your 40s, it's hard to oversell what a deathgrip X-Men had on the nerdy mind. It was the best comic. The best morning cartoon. The best ARCADE GAME. That first movie was a revelation at the time, and the second one even moreso. The hooks are in deep.

I would honestly argue that a whole bunch of elder millennials are political as fuck because they were fed great X-Men content through every medium, and X-Men was not shy about trying to radicalize you with kindness. Shit rules. None of this is criticism. I love X-Men.
