My Resonant strategy so far is to run around and do side quests and enjoy the vibe and combat. I have nowhere I need to be and nothing to write about. It's been great savor this one.

I stretched my entertainment budget a little to pick up Resonant but I've been playing every night and haven't regretted it for a second. Remedy, I see you and appreciate you. This game is an absolute delight, and I've been with you since the Max Payne mouse pad.

The same kid that saw Primetime with me also pointed out how good the sound design is and how well the full audio experience of the theater and the mixing made every gunshot count. Guns are not fired that often. You feel it every time. Even the stupid ones. Especially the stupid ones.

Resident Evil for the second time was just as fun. The jump scares still work. I was able to really soak in the technical achievement of it. It did not have to look that good to work and so many shots are just beautiful. The use of darkness is the best since The Batman.

I saw Primetime. Pattinson is on a run that we're going to be talking about for 30 years. It's dark, surreal, super weird, and Pattinson as Chris Hansen makes so many bizarre acting choices that somehow all pay off. It's buck wild.

There is a weird generation thing with Primetime. One of my older kids brought up wanting to see because to them this is weird and hard to believe American history. That feels a little weird. Everyone was watching back in the day.

Today I'm seeing Primetime in the morning, then the Bengals Steelers game, then another showing of Resident Evil with most of the kids because they haven't seen it yet. Then a new episode of Lanterns and I have some work prep to do for the week. This is an ideal pop culture Sunday

A real thing I'm very proud of: I did the online ordained minister thing and performed two ceremonies for some of my closest friends and both couples are still married and that rules. What a great thing to get to help someone with. Honestly makes me happy to think about.

Creed has a ridiculous premise but Phylicia Rashad absolutely anchors the film in the opening 15 minutes. Her performance puts the whole movie in motion and gives the entire thing a sense of weight and emotional reality. It makes the silly idea serious. I adore Creed. May be my favorite from Coogler
