The finale of #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds was...fine. Better than last year's but not particularly memorable. I find the obvious backdoor pilot to be grating and hate it when the crew being dumb and superhumanly unobservant is load bearing to the plot.

This is the reality. Hospital parking charges get a huge amount of attention & ire but provision of parking isn't free &, if it's free at the point of use, that's funding that isn't going into care. Ensuring there are non-driving alternatives is cheaper, has wider advantages & is far more equitable.
