If we all change our writing styles to avoid sounding like machines, that will reflect in the training data and the machines will simply change along with the times anyway. All LLMs do is pick up on already common punctuation choices made by humans—bots don’t make choices, they steal ours.

It cannot be overstated how much influence Suzuki has had on modern horror. Without his books being adapted, the modern crop of horror movies looks VERY DIFFERENT. Without RINGU, there is no SINISTER or INSIDIOUS or IT FOLLOWS. The J-Horror aesthetic which evolved from his books redefined horror.

Went and saw Exit 8 tonight and really enjoyed it! I only learned it was based on a video game earlier today but went in with only the movie description. It was good looping psychological horror. The story is pretty thin but I didn’t think it needed to be any deeper. Another win for Neon imo

Trump calling the pope "weak on crime" is unfortunately a great bit, but we'll see better as the feud progresses. Trump only really has so many rhetorical moves at this point and is rapidly regressing into fey Broadway insults, but we could see "he's losing his 'look'" and "his 'hat' doesn't play."
