IMO don't eat anything with activated charcoal, period. It's meant as a medication and needs to stop being used in everything just for the cool factor. If you're taking important medications especially avoid it because it'll likely mess with them.

I tend to think of the Internet as having intentional and non-intentional spaces. A good, well moderated forum or subreddit can be intentional. But the vast majority of social sites are non-intentional and arguably worse than vegging out in front of the TV.

In disability circles, the phrase "confined to a wheelchair" is hated because a wheelchair lets people have freedom and leave their home. It's not confinement! Confinement is not having a chair! For some disabled people, masks and masked gatherings are similar.

This is SO cool! Ben found that as he was making patterns on the surface of steel with a pulsed laser, at certain pulse rates he was getting iridescent colors. As the laser scanned, the pulses were lining up to make tiny stripes that acted like the tiny pits that give a CD its rainbow colors.
