Yeah I thought it felt kinda off. He went from being a small time criminal to a Mafia boss with multiple rackets including smuggling, drugs, organ harvesting, gambling, and prostitution (or whatever you'd call it with sex bots). Still looking forward to the next one, though.

I assumed it was a (possibly accidental, speech to text or autocorrect?) shortening of "priorities." Since he goes on to say that it isn't making the platform safer, which I guess is what he thinks the goal is?

It's literally just being confused and annoyed at the idea of having to put any effort or thought into ordering a coffee beyond speaking the words, "one coffee, please". People who don't know, or care, about brand, blend, roast, or whatever, and feel put upon for even being asked.

Pen, watercolor, acrylic paint, black & white charcoal pencil.

One of my favorite pieces from my new book, Spooky Pants. Coming out this October.

A small cabin in the snow surrounded by trees. Two cabin people stand outside holding mugs of hot cider. One of them shouts out, “Big Fella, we got hot apple cider happening over here.” On the other side of the page we see Big Fella, a massive spider emerging from the forest.

Artist’s note: The spider only has 6 legs.. I made a mistake. However, I did read that some spiders can lose their legs in battle so maybe that’s what happened. Also, this drawing was probably directly inspired by the game Limbo. I love the art direction in it.

Three panel comic. Panel 1: a man is standing in front of an older gentleman walking his dog in the park. The man, making a friendly gesture towards the little white dog, asks, “does he bite?” The older man replies, “no.” Panel 2: the little dog grabs the first man’s hand with his paw and gives the back of his hand a sensual smooch. Panel 3: the man pulls his hand back in disgust.

I had this idea from reading the elizabeth holmes mouse post and then I couldn't do anything else until i painted the idea to completion
It is a cartoon mouse, like Jerry from Tom and Jerry, shaped like a wedge of cheese presumably because it has eaten a wedge of cheese. The mouse has Elizabeth Holmes' face. The mouse is saying "Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that."Nathan Fielder, looking into a fridge where the mouse has eaten a cheese, says skeptically "Okay. Alright."

God says to a man "you have died. Prepare for judgement. You will now confront your best self. The version of you that lived up to all your potential." An exact duplicate of the man pops into existence and says "hi, it's me! Your best self! I'm exactly like you!" He continues "turns out youa ctually did live up to all of your potential!" The original man puts his hands on his head and says "Jesus, that's depressing."

The world's most notorious custard-pie thrower is dead. What an obituary. He got Bernard-Henri Lévy seven times.
Known to his army of fans as L’Entarteur or Georges le Gloupier, Godin launched his career as a serial deflator of egos in 1969, when he planted a tarte à la crème on the face of the French novelist Marguerite Duras (“She has a kind of intelligence and cleverness that serves only her own vanity,” he complained), and he went on to “pie” a cast list of celebrities for sins ranging from pomposity to “choosing to function in the service of the capitalist status quo”.The same could not be said of Bernard-Henri Lévy, one of France’s “new philosophers,” whose provocative views on sex, frequent appearances on television and penchant for white silk shirts unbuttoned practically to the navel, had made him a cult figure – and one of Godin’s most satisfying victims.

Levy once declared: “I am the most gifted writer of my generation,” and often boasted of his reasonableness and tolerance, but he was forced to endure footage being repeatedly shown on French television of himself, covered in cream, during a visit to the Belgian city of Liège, trying to strangle Godin and shouting: “Get up, or I’ll kick your head in.”Noël Godin was born on September 13 1945 and came to pie-throwing after a rebellious youth in which he scandalised the priests in the confessional by speaking of his “horrible sexual life”, and was thrown out of Liège University after emptying a pot of glue over the head of a law lecturer who had helped write the constitution for the Portuguese dictator António de Oliveira Salazar.

He found work at Friends of Film, an obscure magazine published by the Belgian Catholic League. It had a tiny readership, which was just as well, as Godin made up most of his articles. In one he claimed that Louis Armstrong had once been a cannibal and had invested in a film called The Vegetables of Good Will in which Claudia Cardinale played a giant endive.

In another he conjured up a fictional blind Thai filmmaker named Vivian Pei, describing her film, The Lotus Flower Will Never Again Grow on the Edge of Your Island, in such convincing terms that an Asian film specialist travelled to Thailand in an effort to track her down.“We’re very careful not to hurt people,’’ he explained. “Well, they are hurt, but always in their amour-propre.”

In 1995 Godin published an autobiography, Cream and Punishment. His other targets over the years included the New Wave director Jean-Luc Godard (who charmed his assailant by hailing the attack as a homage to silent film), the French politician Nicolas Sarkozy, the choreographer Maurice Béjart and the Ryanair chairman Michael O’Leary. He tended not to pick Belgian victims, he explained, because few would notice if he did.

Putrid flame vile mind
Caught at the edge of a primeval forest, you find yourself catching wind of a sickening sweet smell, flaring your senses and intoxicating your perception. A humanoid form crashes through the undergrowth, serpents swimming through its own gangly limbs. Your ability to perceive and your grasp on reality slip through your fingers; it starts to speak in an extinct tongue, and as you hallucinate, it ushers you out of its domain for good. It can take years for the effects to wear off; the encounter stays close with you as you start to carve the runes of that forgotten language into your skin and into the back of your thoughts. It imbued you with a culture lost to the winds and all the weight that entails.

Panel 1: A stick figure sits alone, covered in dark scribbles indicating darkness or perhaps deep depression. A door stands open behind him.

Panel 2: A skeleton with a spear is coming through the doorway. The stick figure stands to greet him with blushing cheeks and arms outstretched, saying, "omg Memento Mori Hi!!!"
