$Slopping sludge line, vomiting slop, rectangular masses that blotted the land, bipedal form marched forth (if you could call it that) , its mutilated wired limbs, chittering mouths spat wildly regurgitations of itself, at what it saw. h-saps clambered and hid at the periphery of this cuboid wasteland, but some could not bare the wait of time and began seeing salvation in that shambling form and would forcefully drag themselves and others into its fracturing strands. They were reduced to their thoughts almost instantly, but not before their visions stretched to wildest of abandon. hoping to become one in some mélange of consciousness, but left with meaningless abandon. This being was more of a conduit than an active aggressor, an avatar for human tendencies rather than some malicious consciousness; presumably, it was as much a victim of those it spread as a wafer thin, left haplessly empty with whirring contempt for the world.$
