The bond yield story just keeps getting starker.

The author uses the fact that many parents want to stay home with very young children as an argument against universal childcare. This is a false choice. At Roosevelt, we recommend paid leave AND universal childcare, so parents can stay home for a year w/ their infants. (It's also cost effective.)
