Even if you've never been a union member, the attacks on unions have cost you money. The typical worker would be earning $5,000 more a year if unions were as strong today as they were five decades ago

Thanks to New Jersey State AFL-CIO's leadership, New Jersey is the next state that can lead the fight on AI guardrails to protect workers’ jobs and rights. NJ workers need a say in how AI is used on the job. That’s why lawmakers must pass the FAIR AI Regulations Act! fairactnj.org
AI is changing the workplace. New Jersey workers deserve a say in what comes next.

Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform the way we work and generate enormous wealth. But right now, a handful of tech billionaires are driving that transformation — and pushing for less regulation, less accountability, and less power for working people. Workers shouldn’t have to take on the risks of adopting new technology while a few at the top reap the rewards.

The FAIR Act (Fair AI Regulations Act: S-4075/A-4981) gives workers a voice in how AI impacts their jobs and establishes commonsense guardrails for workers’ rights, safety, and privacy.
