If Craig had any sense of shame she’d have dropped out after her vote for the Laken Riley Act led directly to Metro Surge so unfortunately this won’t drive her into hiding either. It really really should, though.

Not only is ICE back at airports, they are making workers help them, even tricking them into helping. The unions need to take action and support their members. Posted this a week ago.
Gillian Brockell @gillianbrockell.com
I saw video this week from another major airport of a woman being taken by plainclothes ICE after an airline worker paged them to the ticket counter.
Worker clearly didn't know it was ICE asking them to page and was upset. They follow, asking ICE for a warrant & woman who they can call for her.Gillian Brockell @gillianbrockell.com
I have permission from the person who took the video to talk about it, but I can't share it, because they are afraid it will make them identifiable and they'll be retaliated against.

ICE can weaponize their vehicles whenever they want, but if someone else even drives *near them* they'll use it as pretext for summary execution.

the hanania article on the Atlantic is mostly an bad apologia of RH but i really do not think people get how much basically everyone goes insane (no matter politics) by the fact that online is basically the primary space of socialization today
At first, Hanania told me, he was flattered that such accomplished people were paying attention to him. In an essay titled “Understanding the Tech Right,” he gave the movement its name and hypothesized that it might come to exert “more intellectual leadership over the conservative movement.” But the more he got to know its members, the more disillusioned he became. These men were rich and intelligent, yet they struggled to distinguish between truth and fiction. Hanania was dismayed to learn that people like Andreessen seemed to believe whatever they read from right-wing X accounts. “Because these guys are so successful and so smart, we think they must have access to the best sources of information,” he explained to me. “I can tell you: There’s a high portion of them in group chats all day saying the exact same things, a little more extreme or unfiltered, that they’re saying online.” Instead of the Tech Right making the conservative movement smarter, the conservative movement seemed to be making the Tech Right dumber.
