I picked up and put down Animal Crossing Pocket Camp multiple times over the years. It's so much better now that you can buy it outright for $10 rather than "free" with a constant barrage of micro transactions. It does kinda make me want to restart New Horizon though...

I absolutely think it's important to cherish older games, revisit, and experience ones you missed. But.. I also think you can do all these things without the constant "gaming isn't what it used to be" type behavior, constantly looking down your nose at modern gaming.

the "esc" key on a keyboard is a holdover from early-'90s personal computers. on some models it would dispense a can of escargot out of one of the unused drive bays. they put it in the corner so you wouldn't press it by accident because you only got three of them. i pushed it once and got grounded
