Ugh. Work has "AI training" that uses generative AI to make. I work retail. Nothing about my job needs generative AI. We do have inventory algorithms but those are things we have to update regularly and closely monitor. It's a predictive ordering tool not something trying to replace thinking.

I am not going to lie, the thing that got me writing again was both Control games having endings that felt incomplete. So I wrote two short fan fics to deal with the emotions. And that led to me working on plotting a novel involving a motel in the middle of nowhere being affected by perception.

So he really not only used AI, but made direct copies of GW's models to sell and then crashed out when they sent him a cease and desist. People like him are why GW lawyers love to go on a purge of third party model artists and bits sellers.
