Today I ordered a phone holder for my car. 👏👏👏 This is notable because not only do I NOT have a navigation system/GPS in the Cube, I apparently also haven’t had anything to hold my phone while driving all these years 😭. Dangerously, embarrassingly, almost heroically 😂, Old School. 12 more days!

"Invictus" by W.E. Henley (1875). Henley wrote this while recovering from tuberculosis. He was 27, lying in a hospital bed, and had just had one leg amputated not knowing if the other would be as well. Invictus is Latin for "unconquerable" or "undefeated."

I lost my best friend the other day. It sounds cliché, but hug the ones you love and tell them how you feel. We were able to do that a couple days before he so unexpectedly passed. He was the best practicing stoic I knew and kept a memento mori coin in his pocket at all times to remind him...
