Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today. A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field. Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission. The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.

Skydivers alert emergency crews, assist after plane crashes near East Troy airport
Four people were aboard the single-engine plane when it went down in a cornfield near Carvers School Road in East Troy at about 1:30 p.m.

As I lay in bed with PEM, always grateful to my colleague @georgemonbiot.bsky.social for helping bring M.E. into mainstream attention. The way people with M.E. are ignored and actively harmed by medics who have been trusted to help them is a hidden scandal. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Abandoned, dismissed and gaslighted: there is no excuse for the way ME sufferers have been betrayed | George Monbiot
Changes in guidance and science seem to have little impact on millions of devastated lives. It’s a social crisis playing out behind closed doors, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

The Assisted Dying Bill was flawed legislation whilst the U.K. does not have the safety net - from palliative to social care - to ensure a free choice to die. But I take no pleasure in the defeat. People suffering in pain and fear wanted control over their deaths. There are no winners here.

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green look at each other, with handheld vacuum cleaner between them.
Blue: Okay, you take that side, and I unclip it from this side, okay?
Green: Yup!

Both foxes squint from the sudden explosion of dust that rises into the air as the vacuum cleaner is wrenched open.
Green: Who designed a vacuum that takes two peop-

The foxes stare at the dust pile between them in stunned silence. In the dust pile is a third fox, entirely covered in dust, looking deeply stunned as well. Blue is the one to finally break the silence.
Blue: ...Who are you?
Dust fox: I don't know anymore.
