Exactly the same thing happened with Gisele Pelicot. Some men showed up, saw she was unconscious and walked away. They didn’t rape her; but they also didn’t help her. They patted themselves on the back for being “good men” because they didn’t participate, but they allowed it to happen.

Teaching: rearranging cosine rule to find the angle is one of the hardest things students have to learn about trig, but a direct instruction multiplication lesson from 2 years ago helped me. A student couldn't multiply 2 digits × 2 digits until I circled the ones and put a square around the 10s.
