#PlantProteostasis is maintained by #ubiquitin E3 ligases, especially during #PlantImmunity. We discovered that HECT-type ligases unexpectedly amplify their regulatory reach over the proteome by governing the stabilities of both E3 ligases and their substrates, thereby regulating immune activation.
