A Datsun 510 that my dad "fixed up" from salvage. It had holes in the floor, the cabin would flood with the smell of gas when you turned left, and you had to start it with a screwdriver and some custom switches under the dash. Doors didn't lock and barely closed

I'm 17 episodes into a Twilight Zone (1959) watch and I'm quite convinced it's the greatest show ever. Each one is a small jewel of a complete movie that fucks off in 25 minutes and then Rod Serling smokes at you and tells you to come back next week.

No, SungWon is absolutely correct here. The insistence on sticking with the Japanese title when there is already a perfectly acceptable English one is utterly asinine. Nobody does this in Japanese literature, or film, or any other art form. It's just the anime nerds who insist on being obtuse.

There's a map issued to Polish airmen in WW2 that has all the place names spelled phonetically because they were being given directions in English by ground control.

And was told off for being late. Another passenger and I evacuated the bus, because the driver refused to believe there was a problem. 30 seconds before this, passengers were grouped around the back of the bus while he looked at the engine, insisting it was fine.
