Transit agency websites should have a “How to pay your fare” page that’s linked prominently from the home page. When I get to a new city, I don’t need instructions on how to ride the bus or train; that’s the same everywhere. I need instructions on paying, which is different everywhere.

I always make a point of saying good morning to the little old lady trundling along with her wheeled Zimmer frame on my way to work in the mornings. Having looked after the best little old lady for 20+ years I can safely say I identify as a Little Old Lady, judging from my leisure choices 🤣
