What an absolutely magnificent day at #Rustival - our first time there, but definitely not our last. Blown away not only by the range of cars on display but also how absolutely lovely everyone was and how wonderfully affirming and inclusive the entire show was. All of the praise and more for it!

It's #NationalTeletextDay once again, so it's time to do my duty (or should it be duvet)

A double bed with a duvet on top of it. The duvet has a page from Ceefax printed on it with text as follows:

There are also two plain white pillows at the top of the bed, with a cuddly dragon sat between then. A pair of bedside tables sit either side of the bed with various things placed on them such as alarm clocks and telephones.

Feeling very satisfied at successfully Dockerising my website on my local Mac yesterday - a lot easier than dicking around with my previous attempts to install some kind of *AMP setup which for some reason just wouldn't work. Reminding myself that I *CAN* do this.

This article genuinely made me tear up a bit. My loathing of the utter lowlifes now targeting RNLI volunteers goes beyond measure. The good folk who go out in all weathers to save human lives at sea - regardless of their background - are genuine heroes, and infinitely better people.

The telephone exchange in Heald Green, Manchester, was known in pre-AFN days as MERcury, because the letters HEA on the dial had already been assigned to the Heaton Moor exchange.
