Former AFP plod Rohan Pike, who founded the Australian Border Force's Tobacco Strike Team which completely and spectacularly failed to stop illegal imports, has criticised the Victorian Labor government for not moving quickly enough to slow down the distribution networks. Still on the grift too 🙄

It’s the 56th anniversary of the first day of a legendary rock festival. Sly & The Family Stone, Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor, and Janis Joplin were booked, but an injunction by locals meant none of the artists turned up. So tens of thousands of people turned up and took a shitload of drugs anyway 🧵
Poster for the festival, including an illustration of the site, a map and directions, and sub-headings such as ‘a natural amphitheatre on ski slopes’, ‘free camping’, facilities and comforts’, ‘tickets are now available’ and the full list of bands, including Eric Burdon & War, The Allman Brothers, Joe Cocker, Cactus, Chuck Berry, Grand Funk Railroad, Richie Havens, and Spirit
