I really cannot think of a greater honor than to have the Muppets say this about you upon your passing
Instagram post from the official Muppets account: Few humans have earned the title of honorary Muppet more than the legendary Tim Curry. As a performer he was unparalleled - witty, charming, unnerving, and deeply funny. We will always consider it one of our greatest treasures to have been part of Long John Silver’s crew. A photograph of a character in a play. A young man is sitting in a swing made from a loop of white silk, suspended over the audience, who are visible standing below. He's wearing a white singlet with brightly coloured patches on the front, and similarly patched dark jeans. His feet are bare and he has multiple wrist-bands on both wrists. He's holding the sides of the swing and smiling broadly.

The Dunlap Broadside of the United States Declaration of Independence, printed in Philadelphia by John Dunlap on July 4, 1776. The document is headed "In Congress, July 4, 1776" and titled "A Declaration by the Representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress Assembled." The full text of the Declaration is set in period typefaces, opening with the "When in the Course of human Events" preamble and proceeding through the statement of self-evident truths, the list of grievances against the British Crown, and the formal declaration of independence. The document is signed in print by John Hancock as President and attested by Charles Thomson as Secretary, with the imprint "Philadelphia: Printed by John Dunlap" at the bottom. The broadside is printed on aged cream-colored paper.A close-up detail of the Dunlap Broadside showing the opening of the Declaration of Independence. Partial header text reads "United S[tates]" and "In Gene[ral Congress]." A large decorative drop capital "W" begins the preamble, followed by the text "HEN in the Course of" and continuing lines including "We hold these Truths," "unalienable Rights," "instituted among Men, deriving their just Pow[ers]," and "it is the Right of the People to alter," ending with the opening grievances "He has refused his Assent to Laws" and "He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws." The 18th-century typeface shows the characteristic long-s letterforms of the period. Printed on aged cream paper.

I finally figured out why AI causes such a visceral reaction in thinking humans: I am writing my book chapter on PLAY, and AI is the opposite of play. We play for the joy of the process, not for the outcome. Yes it is nice to win, to have the art/ poem, but the point of life is to play.

UC Berkeley Law creates new AI policy that bans AI for "conceptualizing, outlining, drafting, revising, translating, or editing any work submitted for credit" or exams because "thinking remains the sine qua non of good lawyering (and of a quality legal education)." That's what I'm talking about.
Rule:
The use of AI is prohibited for aid in conceptualizing, outlining, drafting, revising,
translating, or editing any work submitted for credit. AI use is prohibited for any use for
any purpose in any exam situation. Students may not upload course
materials—including assignments, readings, slides, class recordings, or other class
content—into generative AI systems. AI can be used for research on papers ONLY for the
limited purpose of identifying sources, such as cases, statutes, or secondary sources.
Students are responsible for the accuracy of their research and all other aspects of their
submitted work. Citations to sources that do not exist will raise a presumption of
prohibited AI use
