Co-create a group contract. To foster a culture of respect and inclusion, have students co-develop a group contract that establishes rules and guidelines for communication and participation. This formalises the expectations and outlines how everyone will work together to complete the task.

Finally able to return to my chapter on the origin of the universe - and here, part of the page on what goes on in the interior of a star and how a star is a momentary reversal of the downward flow of entropy. A star brings forth possibilities... #Nostos #Unflattening 2
the upper third of a comics page - the whole page deals with the goings on of the inside of a star. I set it up by talking about entropy being the rule of the universe, but stars are a temporary reversal. We see an hourglass-like shape flowing from the upper middle of the page into a sun - which has diagrammatic images of the sun's interior. The hourglass shape has stripes like a greek vase/meander - three strips show an hourglass, sand falling, in the second row of that the hourglasses are spinning, and continue to do so in the third row. Between these rows, there is a rapid retelling of the origin of the universe leading up to the formation of the first stars. The final strip of this has a blazing new sun. And a final set of strips, which depict Hydrogen nuclei tumbling towards the center of the star form.

👍 AI mirage 👎 AI hallucination So many have objected to "hallucination" as a description of faulty AI outputs. We need a term that doesn't suggest conscious delusion. @xolotl.org and I analyzed 80+ alternatives and settled on "mirage." We make the case here: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....
What looks like a glassy water surface with some rocks protruding from it in the background with sand in the foreground. The water is probably a mirage.

Is Grammarly AI? Notre Dame says yes
The rapid introduction of generative AI has created a wild west of policies at colleges, complicating the use of long-standing editing and writing tools.
