Did a leaflet drop through the student area in Dunedin and one of the reasons young people aren’t enrolled at high numbers is they just don’t check their mail (also these are probably for last year’s tenants so why bother?)

It would be a shame if this was framed as “collecting all the lizards”. Bathurst are proposing the rip up and destroy the entire ecosystem, dig out all the coal, then reconstruct some vague approximation afterwards. It’s not about saving a few rare snails. But Bathurst wants to frame it that way.

My Rage Against the Machine/Les Mis mashup is complete. This is my interpretation of the quilt guild’s summer challenge “quilt with your interpretation and/or feelings towards our current ‘democracy’” all hand stitched.

In 2024 a book was published identifying the 180 most significant Māori-authored works of non-fiction. Books of Mana is a valuable resource for covering Māori authors on Wikipedia, so for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, editors in Ōtepoti Dunedin will be improving coverage of authors with articles.
