Oh my god. It's been years. C0host's Eggbux did not fail because Stripe swept them under the rug. The TOS that prohibited making something like Eggbux with Stripe were there from day one, the terms were merely clarified and the staff realized then that the plan wouldn't work

Austerity in Action: Trying to get and IRD number for a charitable trust when one trustee is not an NZ citizen - good luck. Try on the web site and eventually it tells you that you must contact the IRD directly. Ring the business number, eventually it says there is no one there to answer the call.

I’m fucking TIRED of it. Yeah, I am a mechanic - car and bike - and the daughter and sister of mechanics, too. My little bro literally worked at a bike shop for fifteen years. My grandparents owned a garage; my dad and uncle both were certified. I take apart my computers and lab equipment, too.

They also tried to “sneakily” upsell me on a kickstand by preinstalling one and then going “oops, we forgot to charge you for the kickstand!” I’d thought it was a freebie for buying a bike from them instead of the corporate store, and I might have even paid for one if they’d asked. But they didn’t.
