Scottish folk- what's a good city to spend a couple of days in after the fringe? Went to Glasgow last year but want to see more of Scotland.

"Halloween is my favourite holiday" people are all wrong. I love horror films and dressing up spooky as much as the next person but Britain's just never done it justice.

I feel a lot of the "we must rejoin the liberal paradise that is the EU" crowd may be a bit disheartened at the reminder that the UK is not unique in having a lot of racist people within our electorate.

This sort of only happens in wrestling. The equivalent of a funeral episode for a performer. This tradition of grief. They're often beautiful, and they help everyone collectively grieve, and celebrate. It helps in moving on, but I'd rather never have to watch one of these ever again.

The National Trust has done an incredible PR job over the last few years. Amazing that a load of left leaning people now defend massive tax loopholes for country estates

I've been playing Too Human. It's not a particularly good game but it had a fascinatingly messy dev cycle that spanned from 1998 to 2008. When it finally came out it was okay, not great. Then in 2012 due to lawsuit the studio was forced to recall and destroy any unsold copies. An amazing failure.

The time is nearly perfect for a movie about the famously chaotic and dramatic 1976 production of Star Wars, starring Ewan McGregor as Alec Guinness and Hayden Christiansen as David Prowse.

Hayden CHristiansen looking a lot like Dave Prowse

A good test of the relevance of TV news in the streaming/social media age. White House activities will continue to be broadcast via White House social media accounts, on YouTube, etc and be shared/discussed by prominent figures across the spectrum. It'll piss off Trump though.

I see a lot of women on dating apps with "if you're still living with your parents do not apply" in their profiles and while that's not an issue for me I often think they're narrowing their options considerably. If you're saving to get a decent mortgage, it's more sensible to stay with your folks.
