There are queer kids in schools being forced to conform crying themselves to sleep. There are priests being sent to be around vulnerable populations when the church has full knowledge of their abuse. There are women that will die of STDs because they are told not to use birth control.

This is the point at which you strike and shut down the school until they back off. It doesn’t matter that you’re vulnerable, that they can fire you. This is where you have to draw the line or there is no university left.

The moment institutions start saying "no" is the moment it crumbles. These people are not serious, they are not hardworking, they are not smart. They are coasting on luck, and institutional cowardice. The moment institutions stop enabling them, they will fold like cheap camp chairs.

another classic for bluesky
The image is a six panel black and white comic.

The first panel shows a person at their desk, saying "I don't know if I should post this art. Who would even want to see it?" to themselves.

The next panel features another person bursting through the door behind them.

The third panels shows this new person shoving the other one to the side as they slam the enter key on their keyboard, showing the art to be posted in the next panel.

The fifth panel then shows the same person firmly pressing against their phone as if entering in a post.

The post is shown on the last panel, with a comment on the art stating "I FUCKING LOVE THIS AND I LOVE U"

Every two years Democrats fall for the trick that if they just give up on this one issue they will lure votes away from the right. And every time it fails. Just for them to fall for it again the next election. It's how the Overton Window keeps moving.

👀 Scoop: Trump and Republicans want USPS to sell off its brand new EVs and chargers. That would mean literally **ripping up post office parking lots** to auction off assets with no private-sector value. It’s buried in the Senate’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.” www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
The Senate’s version of Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill would see the General Services Administration take possession of the nearly 7,200 new postal EVs and associated infrastructure and put the assets up for auction. The proposal is unlikely to generate much revenue for the government; there is almost no private-sector interest in the mail trucks, and used EV charging equipment — built specifically for the Postal Service and already installed in postal facilities — generally cannot be resold.

“The funds realized by auctioning the vehicles and infrastructure would be negligible. Much of infrastructure is literally buried under parking lots, and there is no market for used charging equipment,” Peter Pastre, the Postal Service’s vice president for government relations and public policy, wrote to senators this month.

No matter how small the threat of communism is it is elevated and made the core ultimate and pressing threat. Any proposition to make capital subservient to the people is communist. Any proposal to make society more equal is communist. This should tell you how scared of it they are.

This is the entire fulcrum of the anti-trans movement. Every random person believes they have the right to weigh in on "care" and what is psychologically and medically best for kids and even other adults, and for some reason governments have decided this is rational.
The teacher raised her concerns with the headteacher over the summer break, writing in a letter: "I am concerned that I am required to give 'affirmative care' to somebody who may regret it later.

"I am convinced that blanket affirmative care would be very damaging, potentially leading to irreversible physical and mental harm."

UnitedHealth secretly pressured nurses to change patients' records to include DNRs (Do Not Resuscitate) without their consent, so those patients would die instead of being saved with medical interventions that could cost UnitedHealth money. This is murder. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
Cost-cutting tactics

The secret bonuses were just one of many maneuvers UnitedHealth devised to track and cut expenses in its nursing home initiative.

Internal emails show, for example, that UnitedHealth supervisors gave their teams “budgets” showing how many hospital admissions they had “left” to use up on nursing home patients.

The company also monitored nursing homes that had smaller numbers of patients with “do not resuscitate” – or DNR – and “do not intubate” orders in their files. Without such orders, patients are in line for certain life-saving treatments that might lead to costly hospital stays.

Two current and three former UnitedHealth nurse practitioners told the Guardian that UnitedHealth managers pressed nurse practitioners to persuade Medicare Advantage members to change their “code status” to DNR even when patients had clearly expressed a desire that all available treatments be used to keep them alive.
