I'm just gonna bookmark this for future reference when Dem pundits complain about how the party has trouble communicating its message to voters. The reason you keep running into trouble with your branding isn't campus radicals. The reason is that your opponents purchased all the media outlets.

Seems like if you're going to make a national story out of Hasan Piker, who campaigned a few times with the Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan, saying Israel causes antisemitism, you should also make a national story out of the favorite intellectual of the US Vice President supporting Hitler.

as ever i'm struck by the doublethink of these people, who feel the need to dress up their mindless longing for heirarchy and exclusion in the language of liberalism--"high trust," material prosperity, blah blah blah it's a form of magical thinking: "if we do enough racism, good things will happen"

Ughhh. Instead of recognizing the strength and popularity of progressive mayors like Mamdani & Wilson, too many Black mayors like Bibb, Dickens, and Young are leaning into their corporatist-machine regimes. It’s exhausting.

Tremendous turnout and energy at the Democratize Yale protest on Friday! Huge high five to hundreds of students, faculty, workers, and alums who are fighting for academic freedom and freedom of speech while telling President McInnis and the trustees NOT TO CUT A DEAL WITH TRUMP!

I dunno, Yale... Are you actually envious of Cornell and Columbia? Think things are going well for them at the moment? That appeasing fascist demands has yielded positive results for them? And the Trump regime is on the upswing, so better hurry up and forfeit core university values now? You sure?

In 1969, a large sculpture of a lipstick on tank threads was installed in the middle of campus as a monument to free speech. In the wake of Yale’s new rules limiting public assembly, today students built their own new version of this iconic piece of art.

I've been covering the death penalty in depth for a dozen years now, and few nights have been as disturbing and dispiriting as tonight. This was a moral, ethical, and legal failure on several different fronts from many different actors. It wasn't *just* SCOTUS, though they sure were a key part.

SCOTUS, over the liberals’ dissent, cleared the way for Tennessee to kill Christa Pike. The alarming order from DC was followed by even more disturbing developments in Tennessee.

FATALITY
A tweet from Joyce Carol Oates: overall takeaway from the Curtis Yarvin profile is that there must be millions of smart-aleck show-offy kids who annoy their teachers and go on to annoy other adults through their lives with their “contrarian” pose that hardens to a carapace over their faces; until, as adults, they still harbor a delusion that, if there is a king, or a fuhrer, he’d be impressed with the guys motor mouth and appoint him to his cabinet rather than deleting him with a negligent swipe of his wrist as Stalin did routinely.
