About halfway through this. It is laudatory. Of course, lots of historians have criticized Zinn's book &/or "activism." The book shows he was an activist first & doesn't disparage scholar-activism, a good thing IMO. Learning many things; especially appreciating the connections to Atlanta history.

The vast majority denied SNAP are denied for procedural reasons. Even 4 in 10 of those with NO INCOME in the previous year are denied, with 80% of those denied for *procedural reasons*, or, effectively, missing paperwork. And The One Big Beautiful Bill is making this so much worse.
