Calgary police confirmed that three people are dead, one person has sustained life-altering injuries and at least nine others were injured in a a vehicle fire in northeast Calgary Thursday afternoon that involved two city buses and a number of other vehicles.

Calgary police responded to a fire involving a bus in Calgary’s northeast Saddle Ridge neighbourhood on Thursday. The Calgary Fire Department confirmed one person was declared dead at the scene.
