Doug Ford still has three weeks left of his 20-week summer break. Jealous? Should’ve been born rich, taken over your dad’s business, inherited the family home, and scammed your way into becoming the laziest, most corrupt premier with the lowest approval rating in all of Canada, babe. #OnPoli
An egg-shaped plastic toy from the 70s called a Weeble. It has a round face, pale skin, slightly sinister expression, and is under four active police investigations. Folks find it charming because it hands out free hot dogs once a year and pretends to be a man of the people. Not pictured: A small red shovel and a Tim Hortons egg sammich.

So cool! I used to do these when I was a kid. My cousin still does rug hooking, but you have to sort of piece it together yourself since kits are hard to come by. She even has this little device that will cut yarn into lengths, so she can use any yarn she finds.

The second panel zooms in on Sarah’s face. Above her we see text reading “I think”.
The third panel zooms in closer on Sarah’s face. Text above her reads “you missed”.
The fourth panel shows Sarah drawing happily in a sunlit room. The text above her reads “the point”.

Humaning.
A four-panel comic. In panel 1, a Northern Cardinal and American Goldfinch perch above a busy crowd in a city, looking down. The cardinal says "It's a nice day to go humaning." The goldfinch says "Just look at them. Majestic." In panel 2, a close-up of the two birds. The cardinal says "Nobody tells you that you'll reach a certain age and suddenly get into humaning. I hit 3 years old, and then bam."The birds are looking out over the crowd scene. In panel 3, the cardinal says "Their calls sound funny to us, but each one has a unique meaning." Below, people are saying various things: "I'm tired." "Where's my phone?" "I'd murder a burrito." In panel 4, the birds look down excitedly at a man walking by. The cardinal says "Wait, is that a guy who got dressed in the dark and put his shirt on inside out and backwards?" And the goldfinch exclaims, "Holy... that's a lifer!"

This wasn't just a ploy to remove bike lanes in Etobicoke. It's an attempt to gut Toronto's entire cycling network.

It's rare that they are so explicit in their reasoning. Usually it's the stuff you see in this piece - it costs too much, it won't be used anyway, we have other priorities right now, etc. But the reality is, the only argument against public seating is "we don't want the unhoused to be loitering."

A lack of seating areas (and public toilets!) is a direct result of hating the unhoused. We live with hostile architecture because leaders refuse to address the homelessness & toxic drug supply. They'd rather just make public spaces less safe & welcoming for everyone. It's bullshit.
