… as Chloe notes, this disinformation campaign didn’t just involve Kremlin state broadcasters; it was actively promoted by conspiracy theorists in Western Europe and North America, such as David Miller, Peter Hitchens, Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate.
“It wasn't just Kremlin outlets doing the amplifying. In the UK, professors, retired military officers and former diplomats - people whose credentials lent an air of authority - helped launder the disinformation too, sharing clips of the press conference on "alternative" media as proof the west had made it up. It fed a broader
"anti-imperialist" story: that Assad was being smeared for daring to defy Washington and London. And it left behind an argument that still circulates today: that the OPCW was a corrupted, western-controlled institution. This narrative was anchored by one image that did more work than any of the diplomatic language around it: a child, alone at a conference table, telling the world the attack had never happened.”

Lubna Speitan, proposer of the Green Zionism is Racism motion, making fairly clear what she's about (OP here is a fash PoS so not including their name or their last contestable sentence)
Lubna Speitan, one of the Green Party activists behind the “Zionism is racism” motion, declared that Zionists will be “shunned” and “hunted” in “every country” on earth.

She said it will be done “by force.”

It makes no allowance for any other form of Zionism. It bundles them in. Again, if a motion said "anti-Zionism is antisemitism" and then used circular argument in the text to exclude any situation where it obviously wasn't, then I doubt you'd be ok with that.

There are many arguments against PR; the one I don't really see is the idea it would lead to "permanent coalitions". For the last 108 years the UK has been led by coalition governments. It's just that for 94 of them those coalitions were either called "The conservative party" or "the labour party"

Dementia and Alzheimer's are absolutely devastating not only to the sufferer but for their friends and loves ones as well. Currently if it happens to your parent or partner you're effectively on your own navigating this terrible and often very expensive landscape of care.

The rush to speculate that asylum seekers are responsible for every crime in the news is a sort of opportunistic informational terrorism. Until it’s disproved it stokes fear and hatred. When it is disproved there are no adverse consequences and they know that they only have to be lucky once.
