Rewatching DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE (2006) for an upcoming article. About as dumb, energetic, and unpretentious as I remembered. Director Cory Yuen really was the perfect guy for this assignment. DOA's arguably on par with PWSA's MORTAL KOMBAT as far as live action movies based on fighting games. On Tubi.
