Hoping to save time and money, they simply recruited Flatline to be a full-fledged member.

"His most-trusted instruments are his bone saw 'Chin Chopper' and defibrillator hammer 'The Clinker,' though he also has a penchant for sewing stitches with fishing wire. I'm not certain he's properly licensed to be a doctor, a vet, or anything at all to be honest."

When I was a kid and America was an foreign fantasy, there was a character in my Garfield collection who said "Hon" a lot I took this to be a sort of French sound she was making. Meanwhile in Peanuts they called their mums "mom" and I couldn't imagine a way of pronouncing that, even a wrong one
