Something that I'll always love about this comic, beyond its message, is that Mizuki draws Tezuka and Ishinomori the same way that they drew themselves. Really cute and speaks to their friendship, I think.

Reworked my Excalibur lineup. Nightcrawler wouldn't be on the team at the start but would join later, while Brian and Meggan would be allies but not active team members.

Captain Britain (Betsy Braddock), Askani (Rachel Summers)

Pixie (Megan Gwynn), Magik (Illyana Rasputina), Shadowcat (Kate Pryde)

Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner), Brian Braddock, Meggan Braddock

Been thinking about my ideal Elita One design recently

A redesign of Elita One from Transformers incorporating elements from the G1, IDW, EarthSpark and TFOne incarnations. She turns into a silver Renault Trafic passenger van, but most of her robot mode components are pink.

how i'm feeling about the current MTG storyline

KNOW THE WORK RULES
APPROPRIATE:
Post-AvX Scott Summers: "I'm an awkward white guy with incredible powers who led a team of heroes in the past, and now my trauma has driven me to take extreme actions to fix the world so it's safe for the people I care about"
"Awww, you're sweet."

INAPPROPRIATE:
Jace Beleren as the Theorist: "I'm an awkward white guy with incredible powers who led a team of heroes in the past, and now my trauma has driven me to take extreme actions to fix the world so it's safe for the people I care about"
"Hello, human resources?!"

Kidding, of course. It's obviously my guy Ian. But those two are my image of the classic Action Man, and I do really like them. As a bonus, the Classified toy feels like the perfect take on the 90s extreme sports guy.

It's gotta be the 70s Soldier and Talking Commander. Real UNIT energies, these guys are definitively "Action Man" rather than G.I. Joe. bsky.app/profile/dani...

In all seriousness I think Tim's original costume is pretty great, even if I'd rather it had the tunic look from Dick's costume rather than a full red leotard.

Had to think about this one, but it's got to be TFA Ultra Magnus. The stark black/blue/white look is really sleek, and his altmode feels powerful and intimidating in a way the car carrier never really has, to me. bsky.app/profile/loco...
