#Rust of moschatel (Adoxa moschatellina), caused by #Puccinia albescens, here with aecia, uredinia & telia on a single leaf (Les Clayes-sous-Bois, FR). The telia differ from P. adoxae: evenly distributed on the underside without causing deformation, also releasing urediniospores.

It was a very enjoyable spring walk after work this afternoon. It was needed after I had an intense 3 weeks of work. I found some nice plant pathogens. Puccinia albescens and P. adoxae on Moschatel, Adoxa moschatellina, and Entyloma ficariae on Lesser Celandine, Ficaria verna. #fungifriends
