Corrected: Why We've Sabotaged High Speed Rail in America. It could work if big oil and the airline industry weren't afraid of it. There are plenty city corridors that are the perfect distance for high speed rail. We could afford it if we wanted to and had the political will to make it so.

I've got 2 trees about 12 feet apart. One, my brother grew from seed; the second I bought online. Nice to have some variety. They appear to be about 1 week apart in terms of flowering and fruit ripeness. But they still managed to be in sync for fertilization.

I have such respect for both of you and work you do, but please: Moving one 150 lb person in a 3 ton private vehicle will never make sense economically, spacially, safety, access, environmentally. We need to right-size transport: public & shared transport + small light EVs (bikes, scooters etc).
