Corrected: Why We've Sabotaged High Speed Rail in America. It could work if big oil and the airline industry weren't afraid of it. There are plenty city corridors that are the perfect distance for high speed rail. We could afford it if we wanted to and had the political will to make it so.

The Portland Airport (PDX) expansion featuring mass timber is absolutely stunning. The wood takes a place could otherwise feel overly sterile/clinical and adds a sense of warmth and depth that is more inviting.

Greetings from Washington Park MAX Station which is the deepest transit station in North America at 260 feet below the surface! Platforms are only reachable by high speed elevators. The platforms are an exhibit displaying core samples and fun historical facts.

The Atlanta Beltline was always about the rails coexisting with the trail. I applaud the local advocates for continuing to push forward the full realization of the original vision. Kudos to the city council for moving ahead with planning for Beltline rail. youtu.be/HZwTWnrPCXs?...
