Also, it’s not just tainting its reputation w/ the public. It’s chasing out everyone with the skills & motivation to keep a functioning party machine in one piece. Trump’s ruined the GOP’s ability to recruit competent minor leadership (to say nothing of major leadership!) you can’t survive without!
