It’s me! I’m homebound from me/cfs going on four years now (had it for 9 years now) and I’m having one of those, missing people moments. Bart has our kids at a little league game, so just having those feelings.I thought to say hi, from the spot where I spend most of my time 💛 #me/cfs
A lady with long brown hair and bangs with big brown glasses is laying in a bed with a purple striped quilt. She is wearing a black t-shirt that says “plant native plants” and a floral pink and green velvet skirt. Next to her is a red book with an anarchy sign from the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. There is a green dry herb vape in her lap for the marijuana. Blurry in the background are some stacked books on the floor. She has her hand up like a fancy person.

photo taken looking up at flowers with blue sky above; painted lady butterfly towards the center drinking from a purple New England aster; goldenrod behind with a wasp on it; to the left, a blurry honeybee flies into the frame beside the asters; I was trying to take a picture of the butterfly, and there were so many fabulous pollinators around that someone was always buzzing around out of focus =)

"The current level of political animosity is exactly what one would expect to see if an extremist faction attempted to rescind the hard-earned rights of the vast majority of the country’s citizens." There are not enough exclamation points to convey how I felt reading this paragraph
Screenshot of article which reads: From this perspective, the “both sides” frame falls apart. The prob-
lem is not that the parties are divided. The problem is the existential
threat that a reempowered ethnonationalist strain poses to pluralistic
U.S. democracy writ large. The current level of political animosity is
exactly what one would expect to see if an extremist faction attempted
to rescind the hard-earned rights of the vast majority of the country’s
citizens. The only way to re-oppress most of a country is to use anti-
democratic and authoritarian tactics. And the only way to oppose those
tactics is to push back as a population and clearly reject them. This is
the argument happening in the United States, and its pathology is not
anger—it is the movement to undermine a generation of rights.

You also see this with more traditional positions of power, because to people defending patriarchy, not wanting a man to have power over others means you want him to suffer forever.

There’s a lot to be said about how this article says nothing and spins around in circles wondering what to do about a progressive public figure being a rapist (hint: deplatform them) but this part is so double talk it made me wanna puke I got so dizzy
But, in terms of accountability, if reversibility is the standard by which remorse becomes meaningful, then remorse can never be meaningful for serious wrongdoing precisely because serious wrongdoing is itself defined in part by its irreversibility.

🎥 WATCH: Massacre at Minab: The School That Became a Grave

In the opening hours of the war against Iran, on February 28, 2026, the U.S. military fired Tomahawk cruise missiles directly at a school in the southern city of Minab. At least 156 people were killed that morning at Shajareh Tayyebeh school—120 of them were children and 26 were teachers.

It will go down in history as one of the gravest war crimes committed by the U.S. government since Vietnam.

Drop Site News conducted a two-month investigation into the strike, speaking with survivors, first responders, parents, doctors, teachers, psychologists, and other witnesses. Some of them had never before shared their experiences of that day. This is their story.

A somewhat maximalist, very collage-heavy experiment piece this month, using a lot of my photography and some old Slovenian art
Digital collage and painting on vertical canvas
Theme: Fantasy / Dark fantasy / Experimental
Character: My OC Lubi (he/him, transmasc) and a skeleton
#Artsky #QueerArt #TransArt #DarkFantasy #SwordAndSorcery

This piece is almost entirely composed of photographs I took. It features a central long corridor that disappears into the darkness, every side of it a different texture. The left and right walls are photos of old walls, the ceiling is wood, and the floor is an enlarged photo of a gingerbread cookie I bought in a Polish shop in Ljubljana once, overlaid with an assortment of Turkish delight from Lidl. I've had these two photos for like 3 years and I'm so happy to finally put them to use lmao

In the front, slightly left stands a knight, who was traced with a lasso tool over a relief sculpture from Celje. He's wearing a dark armour with very colourful accents on skirt and flag, and his head is a fire. On his knee guards, one can spot a unicorn and a stag beetle in trans flag colours.

In the upper right corner, a dragon's head is sticking out of a wall, the fire it breathes joining in with the knight's fire hair. For this head I used a photo from an ornament on one of the 'healing springs' near my hometown. It's coloured in somewhat garish colours that reoccur across the picture, magenta, aqua, green and blue, and notably three of its fangs depict the white, pink and blue or the trans flag.

Lastly, underneath the head stands a skeleton, cut from the famous Danse Macabre fresco from the Holy Trinity Church in Hrastovlje. The skeleton is orange with green shadows, and splashes of magenta on some parts of its body.

Disabled people make society uncomfortable. Left or right…. It doesn’t matter. People want to believe it can’t happen to them. That if they become disabled there will be a magic “fix”. We challenge their denial, so they deny us solidarity and support. That’s ableism.
