In Wisconsin, a police officer allegedly used Flock to check whether his ex-girlfriend had gone to an abortion clinic, according to a police affidavit for a case set for trial this month.
In Kansas, a police chief who tracked his ex through Flock sneaked up on her while she was intimate with another man, a state police certification body alleged, leading to his firing.
In Florida, a deputy speeding to stop a young actress he’d added to a watch list for a license-plate tool called Guardian nearly caused a head-on crash, according to a police report and video from his dashboard camera. The deputy was arrested in March, and his attorney declined to comment.
And in California, prosecutors said a former deputy, Alexander Vanny, used Flock as part of a months-long campaign of “stalking” and “humiliating” his former fiancée that also involved following her around town and installing a hidden camera in her roommate’s bathroom, according to a sentencing brief.

The NYT obituary of Lindsey Graham makes no mention of his effort to overturn the 2020 election by calling Georgia’s secretary of state to intimidate him into manufacturing votes for Trump. The Times, like all news media, is GOP propaganda erasing Republicans’ history as election deniers
Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina and Staunch Trump Ally, Dies at 71
Mr. Graham died of a “brief and sudden” illness on Saturday evening, his office said. Over more than two decades in the Senate, he consistently pushed for the use of U.S. military power overseas.Over his Senate career, Mr. Graham led two influential committees, Judiciary and Budget.

As head of the Judiciary Committee, he oversaw the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court after the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He also played a critical role during the 2016 fight over President Barack Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland to the court, aiding in Republicans’ success in blocking the pick.More broadly, Mr. Graham was instrumental in advancing Mr. Trump’s effort to reshape the federal judiciary.
During his tenure at the helm of the committee, the Senate confirmed more than 200 federal judges, including Ms. Barrett, cementing one of the defining conservative judicial legacies of the Trump era.As chairman of the Budget Committee, Mr. Graham played a central role in translating Mr. Trump’s domestic agenda into legislation. He oversaw the budget resolution that allowed Republicans to advance much of the president’s sweeping tax, immigration and spending package without support from Senate Democrats.

The effort required months of negotiations among warring factions within his party before the tax package became law last year. Mr. Graham, along with Republican leaders and the Trump administration, embraced budget reconciliation as the party’s primary vehicle for enacting Mr. Trump’s agenda at a time when Republicans lacked the 60 votes needed to overcome a filibuster.

Those efforts became a defining accomplishment of Mr. Trump’s return to Washington with a Republican-controlled legislature, and highlighted not only the growing influence of Mr. Graham within his party but also his transformation from Trump critic into a steadfast and outspoken ally.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, if Democrats never draw a hard-line against the bad faith of their opposition, they will resign themselves to governing under the current rules, fully rigged for the GOP. If they won't take easy shots across the bow like this, would they really do bigger, more important things that need to be done? Break up firms that bribed Trump for merger approval? Investigate executives who arranged the payments? Impose accountability on organizations, foreign governments, judges, and others who participated in the Trump-era bonanza of venal and intellectual corruption?

Correction notice from the New York Times reads: “A correction was made on March 13, 2026: An earlier version of this article described incorrectly John F. Kennedy Jr.’s religious affiliation. Mr. Kennedy was a Roman Catholic, not a “WASP” (an epithet used to refer to white Anglo-Saxon Protestants).”

Since July, more than a dozen pregnant children have been moved to a single facility in the small town of San Benito, along the south Texas border. The children kept in Texas are as young as 13, and about half are pregnant because of rape, according to a joint investigation by the Texas Newsroom and the California Newsroom.
