Weird that the new Boeing documentary never mentions McDonnell Douglas once. The whole quality downfall started with the Boeing-MD merger in the late 90s. Boeing had always been engineer-driven, but MD had started to let the bean counters call the shots and were suffering because of it.

Just threw Linux Mint on a decrepit 13-year-old Macbook stuck on Big Sur, and... good god, this thing WORKS again! Battery life will probably suck, but super snappy and no driver issues other than a brief wifi thing. Very usable.
