Not only did I meet Robert Kraft, I worked for him. His kid Jonathan asked me to “remove the black music” from my gameday playlist in ‘94 & I refused so they fired me. I was the cheerleader director at the time. I sued them for wrongful termination and won. So yes, I know that motherfucker.

Today, August 24, is the beginning of the trial process for the event from 2022. Prosecutors don’t dispute that there was an altercation. Their version, however, is that the initial physical confrontation ended before the stabbing. Defence: This was the culmination of an abusive relationship.

I have gotten in contact with Keshia Golden's defense team at the Chicago Public Defender's office.
They are asking us to make as much noise as possible for her.
Golden called 911 for help with domestic abuse over 50 times and was 8 months pregnant when her abuser attacked her. She stabbed him in the leg and managed to escape. He died from his leg injury, and now she is being charged with first degree murder.
This was SELF DEFENSE. Her trial starts tomorrow.

BBC invited Palestinian writer, researcher and analyst Muhammad Shehada on to talk about Israel’s decision to investigate the killing of Hind Rajab. Below is Muhammad’s account of what happened next. Full disclosure: I know him years and he’s a regular on the pod. So naturally I believe him 100%.
@muhammadshehad2
Disappointed the BBC cancelled my interview on
Israel's killing of Hind Rajab
2 producers eagerly reached out. They confirmed the time & one called to prepare a brief for the anchor
She asked me whether Israel's announcement is positive, I explained in detail it was a cover up.
The IDF is blaming the killing of Hind, her uncle, aunt & 4 cousins on the family itself for trying to flee by car & on the ambulance sent to rescue her for "failures in the co-ordination of the movement."
None of this is remotely true! The Red Cross immediately informed the IDF about 5-year-old Hind who was hiding in that motionless car, & they requested permission from Israel to allow an ambulance to rescue them.
After multiple long hours, Israel granted greenlight to the ambulance & provided them with a designated route on a GPS to drive on.soon as the ambulance reached Hind's car, the IDF ambushed & bombed them immediately with an American made anti-tank missile then opened fire on Hind's car. The car was hit with 355 bullets.
Israel then kept that area under lockdown for 12 days, & prevented anyone from approaching.
Hind's mom went daily to the Ahli baptist hospital hoping to find her daughter, until her lifeless body was brought in along with the charred remains of the ambulance men.
Israel then claimed after an "initial investigation" that its troops were NEVER in that area to begin with. They maintained that claim for 2 years despite ample recordings & satellite images debunking this lie.
The only reason Israel is now making this new announcement of a deeper investigation is to shield its soldiers & generals from the International Criminal Court by invoking the principle of "complementarity;" that the ICC cannot investigate a state that is already investigating itself in good faith.I told the BBC producer Israel today also quietly shut down the investigation into the triple tap killing of American, Canadian, British, Australian & Polish citizens in the WCK massacre. Israel blamed the massacre on the aid workers themselves for "deviating from the predesignated route" & for hiring an armed security guard "without informing the IDF" (both claims where debunked by WCK themselves, who had coordinates their every step with the IDF).
I told the producer the Israeli commander responsible for this massacre, Nochi Mendel, is a fanatical settler who had signed a petition calling for starving Gaza & that he was celebrated by settler leaders & supported by Israeli government leaders after what he did.
Mendel even received a box of chocolate from the settler council's leader & a letter of support for what he did.
Mendel was initially dismissed by the IDF & blamed for the massacre, but was quickly & quietly reinstated & promoted in the Defence Ministry as the head of the settlements and notionol infroctrunturo unitIt's abundantly clear Israel is NOT serious about prosecuting any of the atrocities committed in Gaza. Since the genocide began, only two soldiers were punished by the IDF; one for microwaving a living frog & another for cooking sausages in the army kitchen on Shabbat.
The producer asked me: What about the 150 cases the IDF said are pending review?
I answered: it's just a number designed to give the appearance of seriousness, but it's essentially meaningless.
If it took the IDF two whole years to admit the simplest of facts that the entire world had already known, which is that their troops were the ones who fired on Hind Rajab's car, how do you expect them to do with the remaining cases that are not as high profile?
Five minutes after the call, the producer wrote me that they decided to cancel the interview & will not even host anyone else to comment on the issue, & instead they'll play archival footage!

The day before the EHRC Code dropped, Victoria Richards in the Independent Women newsletter, asked what makes us angry. She published my reply in the newsletter yesterday.
I’m angry about this country’s cruelty to trans people

Ok, this isn't exactly what you asked, but I am angry too, about almost all
the things you mention. But, additionally, as a trans woman who transitioned in the late 1970s, I am angry that the government is about to lay the revised EHRC code of practice before parliament, which would ban me from the same toilets, changing rooms and other women's facilities I have been using *totally without problem* for very nearly 50 years. Well, no one will notice me, but they will notice trans women earlier in their journey – and women affected by PCOS who may have facial hair and deep voices, or butch cis lesbians. The vigilantes will come for them, too.

And on the back of it, this government announces that next year it will host IDAHOBIT27 (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia) next year, to demonstrate that "the government has made substantial progress in improving the welfare and safety of LGBT+ individuals across the UK". And it thinks that somehow, as one of the bottom-ranked countries in Europe for LGBT+ rights, it can teach the rest of the world how to do it.

I am angry about that, and also very scared about where this takes us as
country. It is cruelty to trans people, and it won't and can't stop with us:
it will come for every even slightly gender-nonconforming woman, trans or cis. The same people who have funded and led this assault on trans people are already pivoting their money and efforts to anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage and anti-surrogate parenting.

Ok, I've got that off my chest. Please keep up the good work.

I've written to my MP about the EHRC guidance.
You may remember I came to see you after the supreme court ruling on EA (2010). The upshot of our meeting was that you wanted to wait and see what the final guidance would be before doing any more. Now that we've had the guidance I wonder what your thoughts are?

I am very anxious. Whilst people seem to be rightly and primarily concerned with toilets and changing rooms, I have other worries. My transplant is not behaving itself and I'm probably going to require some inpatient tests very soon. Unlike toilets and changing rooms where there's often some kind of practical (dignity aside) provision, that kind of space in a hospital is often unavailable and where it is, it is at a premium.

When I was last in hospital (2022) I was given a side room. After a few days I had to move because a lady was very sick (I believe she passed away soon after). I was moved to a bay with three other women .

What will happen if I find myself in a sideroom next week and there's a dying patient and their family wanting some privacy? Is there a decision tree? A dignity scale, how does it work?

The previous health secretary thoughts were that following the result of FWS, trans people would be accomodated in side rooms. Given that the NHS cannot even accomodate cis people seperately - 4,500 breaches in March 2026. A figure on the rise*. Why should I hold out any hope of being treated and maintaining my dignity - Cis people can be 'correctly' accomodated in roughly 50% of the available wards\bays in a hospital. If trans people can only be 'correctly' accomodated in side rooms (say 5% of available spaces) then we enter that system at a major disadvantage - I'm no expert but that seems like a case for the EHRC.

Moving on from the former health minister to the current holder of that post... today he is quoted as rolling back his previous support for trans people and has changed his mind on whether I am a woman. So, I wonder if whilst you are putting my other concerns to him, you could seek hi…
